Surprise cider!

I am trying this amazing Fall Vermont made cider and I am mind blown, I can taste a very amazing and bizarre flavor, I am guessing that it is the white oak! Great drink for a squirrel!

Furry Fandom Squirrel

I take interest in furry fandom. This Halloween costume may become more. I have never sewed before until a few days ago when I made the collar. I ordered a mask that is pretty generic but I plan to add some things to it to customize it a little more, I really love the mask that I found online. I also love the tail that I ordered as well. They are totally awesome. I know that furries probably don't approve of things not handmade but I am still learning. I have made the claws and the collar. The mask is still in the mail at the moment. I will post updates later.

Watermelons at ALDI

I bought a medium watermelon at ALDI for $1.99 and made half a gallon of juice out of the rind only! The juice was very refreshing for sure!

Yes! People can make and consume acorn flour.

I have gathered some acorns and made flour out of them back in September 2014. I found it to be a fun and challenging hobby. I wanted to collect more but my squirrel friends need them for the winter. Some people use a sock to strain out the ground up acorns but I found it easier to stir the flour and rinse it through a plastic coffee strainer. The color turned from white to a beautiful brown. I decided to freeze it when it was done, it made really good sweet cakes with egg and maple syrup!
